Slightly OT, Land rover Discovery radio code needed

Hi all, just thought i would ask on here as we do have lots of knowledgable people on here.
My boss has a LR disco series 2 , X reg. He recently had the battery changed and has now found he hasnt got a code for the stereo.
I have managed to download some calcs from various places but none of them work on my laptop.
Can any body help with ether the calc or running the numbers through for me ?
the serial number is AL7R610Y0526138 with a number of B00516138C underneath.
Unfortunately my gaffer doesnt even know what make of stereo it is as its branded Land Rover, does anybody have any ideas on that ?
Thanks for your time so far.

Happened to me recently, contacted Land Rover dealer, all they want to see is the V5.

I emailed a copy of the V5, rather than travel into to town, to the parts department, they then supplied the code,

Cheers for that, he did contact land rover but the dealership did the sucking of teeth and a "oooohhh we have to go through head office for that - that could takes weeks" kind of thing.

I was just hoping soembody might have another solution.
Thanks anyway.

Have you removed the radio and checked its not written on the back.

Several times I have had this problem, and on removing the radio, some kind soul has written the number on a bit of tape on the back of the radio.

Check that first.
