What Bernie wants Bernie GETS
Tough luck Hamilton. But Bernie Ecclestone spoke at the begining of the race ' I would like Raikanen to win the championship'.
And low it came to pass that Raikanen won. It was kind of on the cards after Bernie spoke.

Actually a very good race --- luck can't be included in calculations
Congrats to Kimi -- poor Massa having to give up a home victory
Lewis has a thing or two to learn from it but put up one hell of a fight after the glitch.
Rosberg --- chip off the old block.
Kubica good race

My dad makes a good point in saying that maybe the only way mclaren got to keep their drivers points was if they didnt win the championship. Makes
alot of sense and explains why it seems the FIA were against mclaren from hungary
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Mclaren DO have a "stop the engine" button in the pit and that's a FACT!
He'll be a multiple world champion over the years, I'm sure that something has been done to ensure Mr Eccleston's dream result.
Maybe it's my suspicious nature
Cheers
Chris
Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

F1 fix
as above really, How can a race be called a race when there are team orders. Ferrari fixed the result, by allowing Kimi to win, this time contrived in
the pit stops.
It reminds me of wrestling, I hit you and you pretend to be hurt then you come back and win.
Give me Moto GP anytime.
The GP canot be called racing untill the drivers are allowed to race.
Sorry....
Rant over.
Regards Kipper.

And the only way that'll happen is one car per team.

does seem very strange that his car failed for 30 secs and why 3 pit stops??? i would have thought he would have been filled at the second one with
enough fuel to finish!!!??? it really is sad if there were politics and Lewis was prevented from making history for himself....................

Well Ron Dennis after the race said that by using a 3 stopper they made up 10 seconds.

In lots and lots of other race series team orders go off which are expected and accepted for example in BTCC, WTCC, GT, Dakar, F1, WRC etc

I think Alonso may have got a phone call if required, now if he would have answered that would be another thing.....
I think Hamilton showed a bit of pressure in the last two races, I know the gearbox/whatever problem cost him the time but he shouldn't have had
a go back at Alonso, he only had to follow him, bit like Damian all those years back, Shuey got slaughtered by British press but he was a sitting
dick, had Damian waited rather than stick his nose in he would have passed easily later in the lap/race.
Just my 2p. I would have celebrated a Hamilton win btw and I'm sure he will learn from this and come back stronger.
