Guess what just happened to me!! AGAIN!
Hi all,
just got back on the road, after front wing stays broke (see previous threads)
just lost both front wings again on the way home from work only done 18.2 miles on these (new record perhaps )
all this after i got backed into this morning again see previous thread.
then to top it off wouldn't select gears unless I really slammed it into gear, at a junction. 4 speed box on a xflow Any ideas as too why?
SO
1) I need a really good braket design (REALLY GOOD)
2) whats up with the gearbox?
3) Another new wing in black? (maybe)
4) And a beer (got tht one sorted)
also worried at how well I'm taking this considering i've been off the road more than on it since I passed the SVA!!

I still have these for sale:
Image deleted by owner
They survived a 60 mile trip to SVA.
The brackets are pu'ed and fibre glassed over - they may need bending as are set for cortina fronts with steel wheels.
they use chunky steel strips, doubled over for extra strength; for more strength a third strip to the balljoint could be added.
certaily will go further than 18 miles
new and undrilled, not sure if they still have the rubber edging on although I can't think why I would have taken it off as it was glued on.
look in my posts for stuff to sell and remind me what I am asking for them
u2u me with offers of loads money ?)

if it makes you feel any better my clutch cable snapped earlier leaving us stranded on a major road with big lorries going past! Luckily old bill
pulled over and helped us get it off the main road, and even luckier that Dans mum was nice enough to come to the rescue with some tools!

Gear selection - clutch not disengaging properly ? ie gearbox still being driven by engine as you put left foot down.
