i hate courier companies!
sure they do a good job (and i'd actually like to be a driver for one)
but i hate how something will be dropped off today or tomorrow, and if they try to deliver it and i'm not in, it goes back to their depot, which
is usually about 50miles away.
I can't go out for bolts or milk for coffee, even a risk going to the toilet!
i've got an engine crane on the way in one package, and clutch pedal (i'll use for the brake for now), and a mater cylinder. 3 packages
all together.
the slightest sound of a diesel van is getting me all excited!

Ah, a public school education!

Always the case. I was waiting in for a washing machine to be delivered last year- delivery sometime between 9-5. Absolutely dying for a
gypsie's.... Got to 3.15 before I finally gave in. Ran to the loo, extra quick wizz (no final shake ), ran back to see the van driving
away...... How the hell do they do it!!!!! They should have investigated it on the X-files

No matter who I order things from everything seems to arrive here in a City Link van. I don't actually mind too much, I see the driver often
enough that we recognise each other now, and he always gets to me at roughly the same time on his route so I don't have to bother waiting around
all day
My work use UPS to send us parts out to sites, and they're generally pants. Trying to deliver out of hours is a particular favourite of theirs,
along with being in no particular hurry to make another attempt. I'm currently waiting for some parts for one site, UPS have had them in transit
for 10 days now. Apparently they know where one of the two boxes is and it'll be here tomorrow (after going on a mini tour of Britain), the
other one has apparently disappeared entirely. They're trying to blame it on a City Link depot they just bought...

My local bloke from Royal Mail Parcels is brilliant. I live on fourth floor of a block of flats with no lift. He arrives, buzzes up, I buzz open the
street door and before I can get my door key (just in case I lock myself out) he's there, no matter how heavy the parcel.
Top bloke.
The only downside is he likes to start work early so he always gets to me at 7am.

I had a parcel to be delivered to my work by BusinessPost.
office building, big reception, over 400 people work here. we dont share the building with anyone. security gurard here all nigh until 8am when the
receptionist takes over. then there is someone on reception until 6pm, when another security guard takes over.
BusinessPost "claim" they tried to deliver it but there was no one in to take the parcel. apparently, all 400 of us were in the loo.
i hate couriers who lie. my friend was one once, and they get so many parcels to deliver, he said that a large number of parcels he just had to lie
that he tried to deliver it but there was no one in, just so he made his target for the day...
