Back to the grind...
After an 11 month 'gap year', followed by 3.5 weeks as a 'Job Seeker', I start a new job on Monday...
It's going to be hard to get back into the swing... Oh, so hard...
And I'm not sure whether it's good news or bad - but I couldn't afford to skive any longer!

I have been off work [househusband] for the past 11 years!!! Going back to work after Xmas, gonna be weird!
Good luck with your job.
Andy
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

"Senior Software Tester" for a company that does trading desk systems.
Should be fine - I had lots of good feelings about the company since the whole interview thing started; quick decisions, straight dealing, big parent
company with promotion opportunities, good balance of analysts, developers and testers/QA.
Oh yes - respectable money too!
Means that I'll be commuting again, but not all the way into London - only 2/3 of the way...
