tintop tires?

what tires for my tintop? looking a p6000s or t1-r's

car is a corsa, last set i put on were p6000s, found them very good but have worn quite quickly (12K ish), the tires that were on it when i got is lasted over 2 years (about 22k) but cant remember what they were.

which of the two should i go for or should i go for something else? i dont want anything that wears too fast and would like decent grip. (on a budget too, they wil be coming out of the kit car fund - 6000s are £55 and toyoes are £60.

tire size is 185/55/15 (t or above)
opinions please

I'm on Yokohama A539s and they cost £25 a corner. Mine are 195/50 x 15s, which is very very close to your size in all the important areas.

I would stick 195/50-15's on as you can get Eagle F1's or Toyo T1-S / T1-R's for about £35 a corner. Overall size is near enough the same.

Ok if you follow the absolute letter of the law your supposed to tell your insurance...

Yoko A539's get my vote for value, performance and lifespan.

I would definitely consider moving to 195/50/15, it is a very cheap tyre size and will have minimal impact on your speedometer (about 1mph slow at 70mph).
