don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I like it. Isn't their a production car where the needle changes colour at a set revs?
Never going to beat my VR2 though!

why stop there... how about a locost with 1" ground clearance, LED underlighting round the whole bottom of the chassis, 18" or 20"
chrome wheels with spinners and a huge amp and speaker set in the boot area?
Might as well go for an enormous spoiler on the back too.

Perhaps a tad too bling for my taste but id the needle turned red then I would go for one ...... if I didn't have shift lights that is.
Cheers,
Raz

I'm sure I've seen one of the top end tacho's with a needle that goes red as it hits the redline. More classy IMO.

It would be better if it changed to red at the red line. Fortunately for me, my engine only revs to 6500
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

The SPA dash does this.
As for the production car, the M5 rev counter does something similar but it's erm, classier

You'd have to sit in the dark revving the car for anyone to see it though so it seems a bit pointless, who does that ? Oh yes, I see the
original title point now
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
