Scotland v Italy

What a dodgy decision that was at the end that caused the goal!! At least we can hold our heads up high and be proud of the way we played against the world champions. There is a lot more to come from the Scotland team. Bring it on

Got to agree - how on earth that was awarded to Italy... ???

But, to be fair, we got one or two decisions that went our way

Done themselves proud though

Yes got to admire the boys for fighting all the way to the end. Italy were clearly happy to settle for a draw towards the end and perhaps if Scotland had done the same it might have ended differently. However, I'm proud of the way they smelled blood and went in for the kill even though they were unlucky in the end. I really thought that they were going to get a goal the way they were hammering away at the opposition.

I just hope that McLeish stays on as Manager because I can't think of anyone else other than Alex (and Walter) who could have rallied the team the way they have. Hopefully the lure of the World Cup campaign will tempt him to stay on! If we get a decent draw in the WC then we should have a mighty fine chance of qualifying I'd say!!

Good luck to England against Croatia (got to go now as I'm starting to choke... )

Cheers,
Craig

Scotland were robbed. Just seen the slow-mo on the news, the ref was blind (or Italian).

I recon Max Moseley has branched out into influencing football refs now - think we all know he likes gifting things to the Italians dont we??

On a more serious note - really unlucky lads. I thought the Scots deserved to make it to the finals next year.
