What DVD Player?
You guys will know more about this than me so what 2nd hand DVD player do I wanna buy?
I had a Cambridge Audio DVD85 for, typically, just over a year and its now not v happy - will now play some discs and not others and just takes ages
to read things plus towards the end of DVDs it just stops! Great huh?
So the thing is what shall I buy to replace it? I like the idea of buying some awesome but oldish top brand things and capitalising on the
"faddy" home cinema market for perfectly good stuff that just isnt quite the most modern. Been looking at Denon stuff and nothing really
floats my boat so far....
Woud like to buy something that will play me CDs aswell by the way!
Not a big ask is it?!!
All advice gratefully received!

Personally as long as it's got a optical out I'd be happy with pretty much anything... I need that to hook it up to my surround sound
processor....
Other than that I'd buy the cheapest brand name player available (ie Samsung or something like that). In my experience the really cheap (Tescos
jobbies) are very choosy about which discs they'll play!!

I have found over the years, that Pioneer gear seeems to go on for ever.
Really reliable kit.
Not top of the range, but always does what it says on the tin, so to speak.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

Another vote for Pioneer....... I thought it was shagged when I had some problems with some DVD discs... turned out it was shite Sony DVD-Rs!
