Crap Arrests
Not content with nicking motorists but letting muggers and general scum off the hook, other normal people get arrested, for really crap reasons.
Wonder why the police are losing respect?!
HERE
Anyone got their own crap arrest tale?

Police cars speeding.
419 Avon and Somerset police were clocked speeding and out of these 1 was prosecuted. The rest were all deemed to have been in the execution of their
duties.
yours, Pete.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

did you know you are guilty till poroven innorcent when cort on a speed camera?
If you get cort on a speed camera and there is more than one person on the insurance and you say you do not know who was driving but it was not me.
you will still get 3 point and a fine were as it should be ok then copper prove it was me. even if you are out of the country at the time and you know
noting you still get 3 point and a fine. when they should prove who was driving and get them.
as i said gilty till poven innorcent.
the little f***er who nicked your car last week has more rights he can sit there and say nothing and the coppers have to prove he nicked it when you
know it's him

Rell.... in that case... let them send you to court... claim you and a named driver were in the car.. but dont have any idea who was driving.
If they try and do Driver 1 for it... driver 2 pipes up and says... i swear that driver 1 wasn't driving.... but i'm not admitting to
driving. They then have to re-trial for driver 2.... and driver 1 pipes up and says... i swear that driver 2 wasn't driving... but I'm
not saying i was driving.... see how long till they get fed up and throw the case out of court

It did not happen to me it happend to a work mate. he was on his holls at the time leaving the car in his sons and his daughters hands. they both said
they were not driving? he was told becasues it was a road safty issue and he should know who is in his car at any time you are responsable there you
go 3 points and fine. you can take this to cort sir but i recomend you don't because the out come would be the same.
he suspects it's his son he already has 9 points and could not get to work if he got band so he will not admit to it (proper little
f***er).

They only told him not to bother cos they new they'd have trouble proving it ! Police are such wan*ers.
They need to have proof who was driving the car... and they cant prosecute the wrong person... legally... but because people give up, they get done !

Knew some people whose 18 year old son was foolish enough to blow up a mailbox on Halloween.
The mailbox belonged to a city councilman, who managed to have the kid prosecuted to the full extent of the law. It's a serious federal crime
to screw around with post office property; he got 5 years in prison for his prank

You CANNOT say that you dont know who was driving but it wasnt you.
there isnt an option for it on the form.
I took that line 3 years ago and got a 180 fine for failing to provide info and had 2 police call at my work and interview me for 1 1/2 hours.

This has all been covered many times... as you can guess from name I'm into m/bikes also (Honda)
So all loopholes have been closed except 1 at the moment.
You cannot say u didnt know.. u still get done.
You cannot post cheque for fine and add 1p more... it is now an offence.
The only loop just now.. and it wont last long.. is ... on the form you must say who was driving (even if it was you) but on completion of the form
you do not SIGN the form. This is not an offence, there is no law against not signing a form! The evidence is then not submissable so.. you dont go
to court...
Wont be long till they close it though

but they tell you that the form MUST be filled in.
I was told you can fill it in without predudice and then appear in court to defend it.
I told the cops I couldnt see how signing a form saying you were driving is without prejudice!!!!!
I think the 'not signing' thing wont work. It may do with a rich footballer's lawyers, but for you and me I think the magistrate
would just convict. Then you could appeal at expense, and possibly loose as they delay the appeal until legislation is passed.
