avi to dvd converters again
chaps i need your help again,
i am using dvd santa to convert avi movie files into v.o.b dvd files so that i can burn them to disc to watch, but when dvd santa finishes the
conversion all the audio is out of sinc and has about a 2 second delay.
can anyone recommend any advice or another programs that is of GOOD quality and FAST at converting avi to dvd burnable files

nero burns avi to dvd.
I often use roxio easy dvd aswell but its not the quickest.

I know its cheating, but you could just buy a cheap dvd player that support DIVX or similar.
They are cheap as chips these days and better than processing a DVD for 2 hours each movie you want to watch.

I stopped using DVD Santa for that very reason - I now solely use Nero 6.6 with the Mega Plugin pack... 90 minute AVI takes about 2 hours to get into
VOB's and IFO's then onto DVD disc....

I'll second that, you can download and burn to cd or put more films on a dvd.

AVI2DVD very simple to use and does the job fairly quick.

Early Nero versions were terrible for sync but Nero 8 is brilliant. I can now transcode and burn a 90 minute movie in under an hour.
Another good alternative is WinAvi but it doesn't like Vista64 very much.
