Demisting Windows

The heater on my tintop is f*cked! It only blows on 3&4 but the controls are all broken which means I cant adjust the 'output' direction very much.

The windows are constantly misted up and its getting on my wick

While I dilly on getting the heater controls fixed is there anything I can spray or apply to the inside of the windows to keep them clear with the limited (warm) air flow I'm getting?

Any handy hints and tips out there?

Happy new year,
Steve

There is something similar to Rain-X which makes things a bit clearer - Halfrauds sell it. Either that or the old biker trick of rubbing some soap on the inside of the screen and polishing it off.

A smear of washing up liquid will work for a while. Rub it in until you can't see it.

Did you get a bit of a burning smell around the time the fan stopped working properly ? If you did, fixing your fan should be a doddle, look for the heater resistor pack somewhere under the dash, usually in the airflow. Replace that

I wouldn't rub a chip butty on your windscreen though
