Depends on the course...
Tight course - BEC, no doubt. I'm going to say Fisher Fury, because that's the one I have experience of. The Ultima wouldn't see
where it had gone.
Long course with big straights. Probably an Ultima - the BEC wouldn't see etc.....
Horses for courses etc.
An XTR4 would be quite handy in both areas.
I-M-H-O.

Thought about that, but is the Radical a kit car? I think they come straight from the factory.
Would have included the Atom, but it also falls into that category.

Since when has the Jedi been available in kit form?? Its a specialist sprint / hillclimb car!!!
Got to be an Ultima surely. Radicals arent available in kit form so not a kitcar.

I would say an Ultima, but a twin engined 7 with zx10r fitment would be hard to resist.

Mine!!!
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Totally biased... MNR Vortx cannot whack them
Waste your money on a Utima then see an NMR come past on the track... cringe..
The Ultima is a supercar with a massive V8.. anything can become one with enough power, just look at a TVR, nothing going for it apart from the V8
Failing all that how about the Cav GT40? Depends how much cash you have.....
Happy new year!

Hahaha - so which track is this then?? How close to you think a BEC would get to that 1:11 on the Top Gear Track?? Not within 10 secs i'm sure
so you best pick a pretty tiny twisty track!!

Either a GT40 with a really nice high-tech engine or a Porsche 917
GT40 and P917

Well take the V8 out of an Ultima, stick it in and spend as much cash on the MNR and see which one is the fastest??
And like I said Gateshead GT40 if your looking for a kit car thats something else... the dogs bollocks..
Its all about how much you want to spend

... and on any track with a long fast straight the aero of the MNR would still have it trailing the Ultima.
I also vote Ultima, though it's not the prettiest car, that would go to the GD T70 spyder.

I guess I'd have to go with the Ultima... all those records and we've seen how fast it'll go round the Top Gear track.
Tis the daddy for me!

Erm.
The Jedi has ALWAYS been available in kit form! You can buy as much as you want of it off them and do the rest yourself.
As are the majority of specialist cars. Gould will sell you a GR55 as built as you want it.

Has to be a GT40, such a timeless look and would definetly peform even if it isnt the fastest.
