cannot be used on the highway for show purpose only, i use to have one fitted to my bike years ago, it was sold by a company called bad boys.

great , tell everybody what your upto and post your number plate on the internet !!
its completely illegal , if you get stopped , and they find it - i wouldnt be suprised if threw the book at you .

well dodgy. There was a guy who had made something similar on a bike. He eventually got pulled over and they found it... also found out he was a cop!

i'd rather build in a 3 plate revolving mechanism
even naughtier to display someone elses plates i imagine but suppose you could always do it with scrapped cars.

It's OK for use in the good old US as some manufacturers put the fuel filler cap behind the number plate for cosmetic reasons, cleaner lines and
all that (as if that would make an American car look any better ).
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

i had one on my last bike made it out of a 4.8 volt batery pack and a servo from the model shop wired into the flash trigger button hold button
down to hide plate

My Mercedes 250S (W108) had one as standard, the fuel filler was behind the number plate. As it got older the weaker the spring got, so as speed
increased, the lower the plate got as it was pulled by the low pressure zone behind the car. I knew nothing of this until a nice traffic officer
pointed it out!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
