Build insurance
Anyone went for build insurance? Im considering it but dont have a clue where to start. Id appreciate comments on experiences and companies both
positive and negative.

Insured my Viento during the later stages of the build - Value £7000
Cost £40 for the year
They will take this off full insurance when I get it SVAed.
Other quotes started at £130

Yup, another for Footman James, took about 10 mins on the phone, they sent a form out to sign, job done. Peace of mind for £40.

Tried Adrain Flux but they wanted a VIN number quote of £42

Mine was £49 for 1 years build insurance for £7k of kit. It also covers the car if its at another address (eg if you take it to get an exhaust
fitted)
Cheap and efficient. Well worth it
Forgot to add : You dont need a VIN number just give them the engine number
