Smokers on TV
How come you see people smoking on TV programmes? (i mean dramas and soaps etc). Surely they are smoking at a place of work when on set and therefore
committing an offence.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

it sadly crossed my mind too darren, smoking at a soap home is a place of work. Not sure how they get away with it, maybe not in the public interest
to prosecute?

being sad i remeber reading last summer that they had to get a special license for dot in eastenders. It is anything you smoke so fake fags wouldnt
get arround it hence top gear got into trouble for the porka pipes even though they wernt burning tobacco

Funnily enough it was Dot that made me think of this.

Yes, any place you're going to be staying a length of time is considered "home" the rule covers old-folks homes etc.

If you remember back to just after the smoking bad came into force, the top gear guys smoked. I then saw the same episode on dave a couple of weeks
back and the pipes had been pixelated
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Do the cameras have special filters and breathing apparatus? I wonder how long it will be before a camera operator sues for passive smoking at work?
It must be hell when filming Dot.
