OT - F-ing Baboons - not Chavs
Came home late yesterday afternoon after having the clock unit replaced on the Subi to find that the baboons had been round and ripped off part of
the gutter and downpipes and destroyed the bird feeder.
A lot worse than Chavs because you can only stand and watch them at work destroying your property, because if you dare to harm the little darlings
(all 80lbs of them with 2" fangs) you end up in jail.
Trying to scare them and chase them off doesn't work too well either, because they are intelligent enough to know that you aren't allowed
to harm them and they foul your property just to show you what they think of you.
Reminds me of something - a relative was watching them trying to break through the new electric fence at a game park rubbish dump - the leader
strolled up to the fence and touched it, flying about 15 feet backwards with a triple summersault He tried again with the same result and then sat
down and thought about it. He then grabbed one of the babies and held it up to the fence which was another shocking experience for him (and the
baby ). Then gave up and led the troop off to some other foraging spot.

That's what I love about Locostbuilders.
The fact that there is nothing you won't hear about in here.
Have to say that Baboon attacks is the best one yet.

If we harm any of the Baboons round here we could end up in jail , and YES I do mean the Chavs. Hope the damage wasn't too serious

We have the same problem here in the UK it is just that they are known as Pikeys! Once again many people would love to shoot em but they are protected
by the law.
Amazing topic, a excellent diverse forum.

The only wildlife we have in the UK that will cause that sort of damage are called " Cowboy Builders "

That's what the wonderful government has done to our country,
"Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime"? Hmm, more like "Tough on the innocent, tough on the innocent standing up for
themselves".
I totally sympathise as I am in the same situation. The scum keyed all the cars down one side of my street, and have been around throwing stones at
windows quite frequently. They had a go at kicking my front door in at 11:00PM a few days back. I chased them away a few times, each time with them
taunting me for a fight...but 3 or 4 of them running away from me??? Cowards, terminally stupid or a bit of both? This afternoon I just discovered
they have put a very deep scratch in the back of my Fiat Coupe.
They are causing misery to a lot of decent people, but the police are basically powerless. I'm not scared of them at all and morally I'd
have absolutely no qualms about breaking a few fingers to get my point across, but I'd probably end up in prison whilst they get sent on a
holiday or some such crap.
