Right result
I got a right result today.
Phoned my insurance to tell them about my engine transplant (1600cvh to 2.0 c20xe)expecting to get stung. They informed me that there will be no
increase in premium, just an admin charge.I was well shocked

Yeah but the admin charge is £3,500
Seriously I'm always amazed at how cheap kit car insurance is.
Good innit!

If you want to see premium increases then stick in a blown (as in forced induction not conrod through the block side) bike engine

I got a shock when my renewal came through for my locost (XE engine on throttle bodies etc, 200hp) thought it was cheap last year at £120, now its £80
fully comp, value at £6000, and that's with no no claims
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
