You can do it quickly. You can do it cheap. You can do it right. – Pick any two.

Will you look at those engines!
Beautiful or what?
Hmm, I wonder if you could shoehorn one into a Viento chassis?
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

Before I saw it, I thought I'd go and find a piccy of a boat and argue, but I went to the subject thread first and I think poster G V Gordon (on
that thread) says it all:
My God! That's Beautiful!

At the current rate we won't be able to build cars. Time to move into powerboats?
Confused: you'd need to fit a tow hook to the viento. Only way to pull the fuel bowser you'll need - 1.2 gallons (£5) per minute

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

I love this bit. Will it float????
A side note to this boat is neat.. They say...
These engines were so heavy, and the boat was heavy, that, IT DIDN'T FLOAT SITTING STILL!! When ran it was "Afixed" to two other
boats, one on each side, and was "Dragged" up to speed. When moving it was boyant... and then would take off. I don't have a clue
how they stopped it.. I guess the same proccess in reverse. Sounds crazy... but thats what I was told.

The engines do look very far back. I’ve seen similar boats in old films but the engines (some had loads of them) were spread over the length of the
hull. Looks a bit dangerous if the engine in front of the driver caught fire

I think that applies to power boat racing in general, even today.
