Scam at last years shows
I have Just had conformation that tickets sold at a number of kit car shows last year were part of a scam.
The ticket i have was behalf of the yorkshire aire ambulance service and cost £10 i have a ticket number in the 3500s which means a lot of others have
probably lost out.
I have a web address and number but number dead, web address stil live but not sure if i can post it on here?

That could be part of the scam using a legit web address to make it look good.

Walk round a show collecting £1 and £2 quids saying you're part of a charity thing when you're not and using the name of a proper charity
to make you look legit.
The charity may be as much of a victim as you

I recall a 50 something bloke in a suit at Newark last year. Well spoken and articulate. Kind of a guilt trip if you didnt buy ticket - but polite and
your own decision if you know what i mean. I was probs had too but only for a small amount.
If its true its a bit scummy using something as worthwhile as air ambulance to get the cash. Actally using any legit charity is a bt rough.

Is that bloke with the can for sick children genuine? We
paid him at Newark, Harrogate and Donington - presumed he is genuine as he keeps coming back and there must be easier ways of scamming than hanging
around car shows.........
