PPC Chevette?

In the new PPC theres a readers car Chevette with a Rover V8 in it.

It's got Bogg brother inlets and two sets of Fireblade carbs set horizontal

Are the carbs OK at that angle? The float chambers look miles away from their correct position.

Aparently they work ok at a range of angles, but, my veiw is that Kehin, Mikuni etc spent ££££££'s developing carbs to work at angles specified by the bike manufacturer, so they ought to work best at the design angle........
