All 5 should have been sacked on the spot.
The local Cheshire police were quick to make sure two mechanics from the local Vauxhall dealer near me who went out in a police car to test drive it
after some work was done (and who also simply tested the blue lights worked during the drive....... almost the whole drive actually!!  ) were
both sacked and charged with the offence.
