OT - Tintop help - Smoking 2.5CRD Voyager
Seems to be a fan running after stopping (but not rad fan) and smoke coming from nearside front quarter but brake disk isn't unduly hot
(worryingly seems to be burnt diesel). Aircon died at the end of the summer and was going to be looked at soon but not certain it is related.
I'll get it looked over tomorrow but just in case there's a known problem with these that the gurus can provide enlightenment on would be
appreciated...

Some diesel have a pre heater for the air con, if your aircon has stopped then it may be burning diesel to heat up a system that does not work.

Cheers Snapper - sounds a likely candidate - Had a mate with a Sharan that had a auxilliary diesel heater for the cabin that went up once so I did
wonder if there was something like this in the Voyager...

Try running the heater on cold. If it's not calling for heat, it may not be trying to heat something!!!

SWMBO's car - As much chance of getting her to not run the heater in this weather as me solving cold fusion...
