Laws are for you to obey, not us

Haringey camera car parked on a yellow line within restricted hours, at a corner, completely blocking view to the right of anyone coming out of side road.

We have a council van that parks every night, two wheels on kerb facing on coming traffic.

Me I got a ticket for two wheels on kerb (I know I shouldn't have) but at least I was facing right way.

I regularly see the local parking attendant parked on double yellows and in bays without a permit. I have sent pictures to the local authority, but they never reply.

I regularly see a shitty little smart car parked up on a bus stop taking photos of cars going @ 32mph whilst ignoring the Porsche Cayenne idiots parking on double yellow lines (presumably that's the govnor's wife dropping off the kids at school)....

I've just bent the needle on my irony meter

Isn't irony the word Americans use to describe things made out of iron?

Don't e-mail the picture to the council, e-mail it to your local rag and get some public support going.

As I was getting a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt, another member of the 'let's catch the non-seatbelt wearing criminals police team' drove past in his plod van, using his mobile! I pointed it out to the PCSO dwarf and he just shrugged.......

(I took the ticket with a broad smile and when the PCSO gimp asked for assurance that I'd learnt my lesson, I simply told him that I'd been driving for nearly 20 years, I exceed the speed limit every time I get behind the wheel at some point of my journey, and I have never worn a seatbelt. £30 was an absolute bargain.........It wasn't a true statement but it wiped the smug look off his face...)
