best of all:
quote: Sites we could not get a quote from: Bell
This insurer failed to quote because they do not support your intended use of the vehicle.
BTW use is SDP
which is nice, since they are my current insurer and have been for the last few years!!!

i was with bell when i had my old starlet. was paying over 500 quid with elephant, done what you done with moneysupermarket and bell came up cheapest
with 270, only to realise later on that elephant and bell are the same company (admiral) which operate from the same address in cardiff!!
i hate insurance companies there is always a problem and can never ever be simple!:

each insurer pays a small payment on each quote returned by doing a credit check with companies such as experian. due to the volume of quotes these
large aggrgator sites expereince, these charges soon and up.
so, in order to reduce this, they set filters to not always return a premium.
many compnaies will not insure under 21 for example according to moneysupermarket, but go direct to their site and you will get a premium. this is as
young drivers etc are more likely to spend hours shopping around seeing whats the best car they can get insured on.
gosh, I feel like a Locost Builders Insurance spokesman

I got some fantastic quotes from them last week - until i tried to take out the insurance and noticed somewhere down the line the bits like
"protected no claims" and "legal cover" had been missed of the quote. When added the price came back to what my existing
insurance company quoted. So moral is check the quote you're buying does have all the bits you ticket on the money supermarket web site.
One other thing - direct line don't go on the money supermarket type sites, went to them and .... saved 60 quid! (not bad when the original
quotes where all around 420).

Direct line is always cheap for me. Get on the phone and haggle to as many as possible. Only way to get the cheapest price!

Just pray you don't have to make a claim...
Insurance is one of those things I definitely don't mind paying a few extra quid for the service to be there. I've been with A-Plan for
15+ years now and they've always got either better than or very, very close to the next nearest quote, but service when things come a cropper is
phenomenal.
