Nice work if you can get it

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7300931.stm

Mills gets 14 million and a 2.5 million pad in London.

"The settlement will also see Sir Paul pay Beatrice £35,000 a year"

Pretty decent salary for a kid without even doing any work

"Beatrice only gets £35,000 a year - so obviously she's meant to travel B class while her father travels A class, but obviously I will pay for that."

"I'm not appealing against the judgment because it's not worth it," she said.

Money grabbing wench!

Not quite what she wanted but very nice all the same. Id marry him if i could get a settlement like that!

Can you imagine the court hearing. Ibet he turned out his pockets and said bugger - ive got no loose change on me or id pay you now. He probs turned to his lawyer and asked for a sub till he got home.

Shame there is no evidence of the 800M fortune - he will probs pay the 24M out of next years tax saving now. Even the supr rich hide there savings from the CSA then

Benzine or Welderman for cash value (14-15 million). More if you think about house, assets, yearly child support payments etc!

Tell me about it - I've been married 3 times and that's why I'm broke (and an old fart) - but I didn't start off with £800M though

Hardly, most blokes get stung for a bigger percentage in a regular every day settlement.
Sir Paul will be laughing his tats off tonight.

I'd want 24Mill for being married to the pompous old git for a couple of years - never mind having to nurture his kid so it doesn't turn out to be a scally!!!

The true experts in the field insert 'have child' between 'marry' and 'dump'; this tactic has a dramatic boosting effect on final payout!

I sick of hearing that whinging money grabbing......... person........ going on about how hard done by she is. That first statement about their daughter "only getting £35k pa" really annoyed me - loads of families live on less than that!! So how many kids are expected to buy their own travel tickets now??? Typical of that woman to come up with a dumb comment like that!!

So i believe she is going to appeal against the judge's decission to "go public" with details of the settlement!! Am i wrong in thinking that that woman has been shooting her mouth off on every single occassion to the papers / tv every 5 mins about this settlement??? Bet she's upset only because its stops her blabbing to the world herself just what she's getting

Grrrrr - that woman really annoys me (can you tell??)

Perhaps so, but that doesn't stop her being a money grabbing cow. Fancy complaining about the 35k pa payout when she's just landed 14 mill plus another 2.5m for a house. Some people are so greedy that they don't deserve anything. Hope it brings her complete misery tbh.

Harsh.

Think she's had her fair share of rough luck, gold digger or not. Ok, she's got some 'friends' who claim she has always been on the hunt for a rich man to take care of her, but I know dozens of women who have done exactly the same thing.

She just happened to find herself with one of the richest men in the country.

I admit she blabs on a little too much, but she hardly gets any favours from the tabloids.

You can't argue with the fact that she's done a fair bit for charitee, and her appearance on the american version of Strictly come dancing would have given massive inspiration to loads of people with prosthetic limbs.

I just think people have judged her a little too much by what is printed in the daily papers.

Plus, as I've already stated, I think McCartney is a pompous old git.

I just think anyone who marries someone in his position for such a short period of time has a hidden agenda. Why does she deserve a penny of his money? She didn't earn it!

Yes, she has done a lot of charity work, but if you had bloody rich husband (let alone all the houses/banka ccounts she married into) then I think you would find yourself doing some charity work just to keep up appearances/keep yourself occupied. Lets face it, if she was such a wonderfully charitable person, she would give away her 'winnings'. After all, she must have more than enough squirreled away for a rainy day.... Plus, was it me or is she looking as rough as a badgers arse today?!

She just gets nicer...

First it's reported she tipped water all over McCartney's lawyer:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7303266.stm

Then the judge reveals his full account of the case and effectively says she was a lying bitch:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7302736.stm

Not that I like McCartney either, but I think Mills is a vindictive, lying, money-grabbing cow.

I was wondering if she would use some of that cash to take the newspapers to court for libel against her over the last 18 months.... i somehow doubt it.

I doubt she will survive to be honest, she will be followed and hounded by the press, out of money in a year and appearing on TV reallity shows(i didnt really want to say celebrity show)

Seems pretty clear that she's completely lost the plot!! She sacked her own legal team - and i'd say its because they wouldnt go along with her lunacy in the court hearing so i'd really love to have heard exactly what she said in court. No wonder she wanted the judge to not go public!!

I'd love to see Paul McCartney's lawyer take action over the jug of water that she had poured over her. Does that class as assault??

Yeah, it's just insane:

"The battle lines are set out in the open offer made by each party prior to the start of the final hearing. In her letter of 31 January 2008 the wife computes her reasonable needs for herself and Beatrice at £3,250,000 p.a. which amounts on a Duxbury capitalised basis to £99,480,000. She seeks a property adjustment order in respect of a property in Beverley Hills called “Heather House” and of a property in New York State, 11 Pintail. She seeks between £8m and £12.5m for a home in London, £3m to purchase a property in New York, £500,000 to £750,000 to purchase an office in Brighton, a transfer to her of a mortgage in favour of the husband over her sister’s (Fiona) Hove property, transfer of property order re a Southampton property owned by the husband in which Sonya Mills lives, and relief in respect of chattels. Further, the wife asks the court “to place a significant monetary value on compensation for loss of earnings, contribution and conduct”. She would retain her own properties at Pean’s Wood in Robertsbridge, Sussex and at Angel’s Rest in Hove. Overall her claim amounts to about £125m. She also seeks an order for costs."
