Arthur C Clarke dies at 90
I was saddened to hear that Arthur C Clarke has died. His stories and ideas have had a significant influence on my life.

oh dear
I read a lot of his books
remember his shirt saying -
"I invented the communications satellite and all I got was this lousy shirt!"

A true visionary.....
Captain Birdseye also died yesterday, after captain Cook he was the most well known capt - according to some survey or other

Great loss with AC Clarke going. Read most of his books - just re read his RAMA series.
