I've started it, I try not to read it all in one sitting

I've stopped buying it after the article on exhaust manifolds. They spun it out over more than one edition to sucker us into buying the next
edition.
Whats more the content was pathetic, it was limited in scope, short on theory and with few practical building tips - I got a lot more info and
practical advice on the net in a couple of hours.
Ironically I was so offput I never priced the manufacturer they used to provide the article and after searching everyone else first found he was the
best price. Got the bends from him and I am delighted.
Not a mag for me I'm afraid

I read it. Volvo power seems to make a lot of sense. Who is it that always bangs on about them??????
It would seem like 200bhp is so so easy and almost hard to 'only' get that much - yet for most people on here that would be just great.
Is it easy to convert Pinto car to volvo power on a real budget (hypothetically speaking of course!)

I like PPC.
Sometimes it's a bit lacking in detail, high in enthusiasm.
Actually, come to mention it, it's a bit like Uncle Ron's book!! Inspires you to go and do it but doesn't actually give you much
help when you do!!!

Tried 3 different WH Smiths in London yesterday... none of them had it!
Will try to pick up a copy today. I've got every issue, except the first one!

fitting the turbo redblock in a locost , itsnt quite so easy in a book locost , it can be done , but youll be making lots of things fit , as i found
out . the main problem is the engine leans over 15 degrees and the turbo sticks right in the chassis rails - you can turn it round tho fit .
At std boost its quick enough , so when i get my programmable on there , and turn the boost up to match the T4 spec turbo on there , i might have some
fun
