Sad day for motorsport

David Leslie and Richard Lloyd are though to have died in the plane crash in Farnborough.

I knew David Leslie from his Formula Ford days at Ingliston in the late 70s/early80s sad

Is it just the way they're reported or does there seem to have been a spate of motorsport bods involved in air accidents of late?

MMMMM That did occurr to me and it also seems a large number are Scottish. We only have five million people up here and the gene pool for drivers is smallish.

Don’t think I'd be too happy getting in any aircraft flown by a race car driver anyway, not quite the right mentality for it
