Guess what we got at work today.
Guess what I found out in reception at work today....
(note this is'nt a photo where I work cos I'd be frog marched off site in an instant)
Caparo
there here to demonstrate all the Caparo related companies and what they can offer. very interesting actually.
But on closer look at the car there are a few things that dissappoint you, (bit like F1 cars really)

Weird isn't it. When it was first "launched" they said £50,000 and it had a hard top, like the orange one in the photo above. At
that stage I was willing to remortgage my house or sell a kidney to get one.
But now, the white one that they gave to Top Gear and 5th Gear etc to test drive doesn't have a roof and costs 1/4 million. All of a sudden it
makes no sense at all.
I might as well just stick with the Indy!

Worse than that the one we have here is painted in battleship grey, looks awful.

I wouldnt knock the interest factor at work and would jump at the chance for a good gleg but every time i remind myself of the price and the grief
they have had testing them it sure makes the Ultima a whole better proposition.
Bringing out a car in that price point in such a strange economic time must be a recipe for disaster.

A quarter of a million for an undriveable car ( if Jason Plato can't drive it, then I'm sure I can't) on which the floor starts to
come off when you take it on a track (or it catches fire).
I wonder if you get to keep the fifteen blokes it took to get it running?
A nice ferrari/porsche/lambo, a Radical for trackdays and 100k change will do me.
Who are they selling these wastes of petrollium to?
Cheers
Chris
Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

Just make sure you have a fire extinguisher in the cabin at all times.
