O/T 307 tierods

I'm having a problem with the steering on the 307 SW.

It appears the L/H Tie rod has lots of play in it.
Is it possible to replace the tie rod and end on it's own? or am I looking at a rack replacement?

ATB Dan.

is this the part??

track rod end

If so i'd definately give the local autofactor a ring for a price. Mine generally beats ebay prices by the time postage is added and often beats the BIN price

Paul, Cheers that's the rod end i'll replace as well, I'm after the tie rod from the rack to the rod end. The play appears to be at the rack end of the tie rod.

Think i'm with you now - so its the ball joint on the inner end of that tie rod then - the bit under the rubber boot in the pic.

inner ball joint

I would think thats a part of the steering rack assembly myself. Dont think its a serviceable part with any adjustment myself but i only have experience with Citroen steering racks.

If it doesn't fit MODIFY it!!
