I looked everywhere to see the tell tale April 1st date.

It's not a joke though is it ?

If it works - great. The cruising age group are the most vulnerable age group and the hardest to reach with road safety messages. Unfortunately, they are also the group that are most anti establishment so I'm not confident it'll produce the results.

I'm trying to get my Service (Fire) to look at the links between motorsport and road safety but the sceptics think motorsport presents the wrong image. :-(

Doesn't have quite the same appeal to the kids when it's spitting out lyrics from Engelbert Humperdinck......

I'm sorry but i think Heddlu are taking the wee spending money on that, the kids will just laugh, the music will be crap cause they can't afford the Copyright fees and will the police be saying things like "It's cool init" and "Keep the speed down man"
You can't break into kids culture, they don't want you too, thats the whole point of it, we are not supposed to understand.
Give me strength from upper managment initiatives. Its like polititions kissing baby's first thing you do when you get the baby home is to wash the baby.

The poor copper who gets tasked with having to present the thing to the chavs will feel like an utter arse...

There's only one thing that sort out all the chav novas and 206s and corsas out there. That's fire - and lots of it.

‘the region's awesomest set of wheels.’

Is awesomest a real word, sounds uncrepulant to me.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I initially did not open the link, I thought it must be the "Arrive alive" speed camera spotted in the back of the horse box parked in a layby near Maenan , LLanrwst as reported on the Welsh News last week.
The police spokesman said it was to discourage speeding bikers on that stretch of road.
North Wales police tend to be very devious.
Take care when driving in North Wales !!

I believe the impact on the target group will be floccinaucinihilipilificatious.
