OT: Motorola KRZR K1 unlock?

I have tried all of the usual google searches. Dodgy software etc.
I don't fancy giving out my IMEI number either!
Anyone done this themselves/ have the software etc?
Phone is on the Orange network.

Cheers Martin

I was told you can find people to do it for you for a small price. I was told of somebody in an electronics store, just asking the staff. They strongly recommended paying somebody rather than fooling around yourself. You might screw up your phone completely!!

There are people on ebay that you tell them your IMEI number and network and they send you a code to enter into the phone. I have looked high and low on google for the software calculator but no joy

What a coincidence - I have just done this but ended up binning my phone so you might want to reconsider

I accidentally upgraded the software via Motorola tools and that is when my problems started!

If you REALLY want to have a go then look for progs called RSD Lite v4.1, ramldr, Flash&Backup etc and have a trawl round a few of the Motorola modding forums (there's loads)

Anyone want to buy a perfect condition KRZR K1 with a white screen problem?

IMO it is cheaper to buy an unlocked one and sell your on eBay.

Cheers,
Raz
