Got a Dell X50V with all software and compact flash GPS receiver (not sure of brand of receiver right now). If yours is the X50v (cos the v
matters, I believe) then I could help.

Dell are usually very good on having all the CD's and software on there website.
Go to the support pages annd enter you service tag number.
dell support
if not the Axim's are under the electronics catagory on the 'Model selection
( infact I fine it quiker on my dell servers to re download the cd than get of my arse and getting the original out of the safe.)

Might be aiming in the wrong direction, but how are you trying to set it up? Am assuming the GPS had a manual?
Only asking because mine did, and without it I probably wouldn't have found the answer for a while...
I paired mine, then had to add it as a serial port, see http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/archive/2006/06/07/620387.aspx

Can I gatecrash this and ask it anyone has the CD for a Palm Tungsten E? Seem to have lost it somewhere and the thing ran out of battery power
recently so I could do with re-installing all the software.
As for a Dell, I also have an x50V and have all the software, including a disk for a compact flash GPS receiver, but found that all I really needed
was the TomTom software and to find the receiver using that. The software which operates the GPS receiver does give me location in geographic terms
but that is all, TomTom works when it is not installed.
