Medium Term Carm Insurance

Got a company car due to be delivered in about 7/8 weeks. However, my current car insurance runs out in 1.

Once the new car arrives, I'll probably get shot of the old one so don't really want to pay for a year's car insurance upfront and then go through the hassle of getting money back etc etc.

Any recommendations on somewhere to get car insurance for a 2 month term?

I believe that Direct line or similar is a monthly insurance policy - when you sell the car just cancel the monthly payments.

Cheers

I had this change-over period with my last car. Phoned the insurance company (Bell) and explained things. They insured my old car for £14 a week on exactly the same arrangement I had already. Not too costly and had all the paperwork and certificates within a day or so. I ended up insuring it for nearly two months in the end but still much cheaper than having a 12 month policy and trying to cancel it and loosing money!

I have, too - did it with Directline when I sold my last car and bought this one. However, the was only for about 2 weeks. Am just looking for a recommendation on companies that would offer a 2 month policy for reasonable cost.
