Only in America!
Cheers,

When thinking outside the box doesn't work any more, it's time to build a new box

They've had it too good too long!
If US is feeling the pain too then it may help us all in the long run though?

Maybe - but look at the pump prices - even allowing for the smaller US gallon, that's still around £2 per UK gallon! (excuse the crummy mental
arithmetic - it may be a little more than that )
UPDATE: I reckon it works out to £2.10 per UK gallon.

I wonder if the government would object to me importing a tanker load from venezuela? would probably work out cheaper than buying it here if i didnt
pay tax on it.

You know what always bugged me. Places like Gibraltar or sovereign territory in Cyprus which are supposedly under British rule getting their petrol
for a lot less than us lot here. Double standards, or maybe I'm just bitter
