forklift training/ jobs (blackburn area)
my brother got made reduntant (well he took voluntary after 13 years).
his old company (conservatory roofing company in clitheroe) where ment to arange forklift training as part of the package, but never did.
so i told he would be better to pay for it himself and then it looks better on his cv.
1) so does anyone have any experiance of training companies around blackburn, preston, bolton area.
2) does it make a differance in what training there seems to a lot of different types.
3) I assume it would be better to have some training rather than expecting a new company to train him, do you agree.
anyone know of jobs in Blackburn, Chorley, Preston area.
thanks

Try Rushlift

I used them a few years ago and aI thinkI paid about £100 for a one day course in Counterbalance Use. It was more if you needed to get All Terrain and
specialist stuff.

Having said what I just did, I wouldn't bother paying to go on the course. I would attend interviews first and expess that you are willing to
under go training. Most companies insurance will require you to complete a course under their employment.
You're not required by law to do refresher courses unless you have had an accident or near miss.
