Why helping the Police is a waste of time

9 weeks ago a 19 year old boy was stabbed and subsequently died local to me.
I got a visit from the police because I have a cctv camera aimed at my tintop and a hardrive recorder.
They "borrowed" my hardrive recorder 7 weeks ago and I am now ringing up everyweek to try and get it back.
Not only is my property now un-protected, the police knocked again last week about another incident!
I just laughed at them and told them to ask their other officer where it was.

Next time they call, I am going to tell them it is a dummy camera.

And they wonder why the public don't want to help them!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope they gave you a receipt for that recorder.

Go down to the station and complain, make it a formal one.

The recorder will probably turn up at a lost property auction

Run red lights

I had a lady run a red traffic light at a crossroads and I hit her straight in the driver door with my van.Police sent her on a driving video course,no prosecution. If you run a red light and get flashed its probably £60.oo and six points.Logic????

I've rang the IPCC who gave me another number for police affairs.
They are going to chase it up.
The joke is that there might not be anything on it anyway.

Here is to more phone calls at my expense

maybe they don't beleive you? To avoid a repetition, you should install another recorder to record the police taking away the recorder.....

I have a time lapse vcr on my cctv, 3 times the police have taken tapes away looking for evidence of car crime.

I have always given them the tapes at exactly the time the incidents happened, and told them this. Each time I called them and they told me they couldn't find anything and would return the tape. 3 tapes down, none returned.
