how much do you need, and what thickness? I might have a bit knocking around.

A place called fathomtree in lenton make a lot of stuff out of perspex and are usually happy to give offcuts for educational purposes.

ANy Glazing company should be able to do "plexiglas" like they use for bus shelter windows. Will Cut with a saw and can be drilled etc.

Scot's do it better in Kilts.

Just google local sheet plastics suppliers.
- Unless you only want a tiny bit, i will proberbly be cheeper than BnQ.
- Perspex, Plexiglas and Lucite are common brand names for clear Acrylic.

Helmet visors are handy for very small pieces - usually Lexan or similar.

ebay is useful for small amounts and different colours etc.

e.g.
