Father Day on Sunday...DON'T FORGET!!

Andy

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

I've already bought my inactive father-in-law a TV and a stereo system over the past two years. What else? I know, we'll go over to his place and have my mother-in-law and her new hip make us a nice dinner. Just like last weekend for my brother-in-law's 50th. The guy who doesn't drive, and who jumped up and down like a 10 year old when we told him we were taking him to race go karts, but as usual, I digress.

Mr. Whippy: I recommend a new TV. They aren't very expensive nowadays. It's the preferred past time of layabouts.

We don't bother with Father's Day in my house - doesn't seem worth the bother. However, a card arrived for me today and my first thought was "which daft beggar's sent me a birthday card 2 months early!" - then I opened it and found a card from my daughter in Sydney!

She must be after some money...
