Heres another fuel petition , a more sensible approach (doubt if it will work...) but it can't hurt to sign

It won't work but yes- applying VAT on fuel makes the governments official policy of "we're keeping duty the same so we're not
making money out of high fuel prices" a quite obvious lie....
