I've failed..........

After popping my diff, fitting another, popping that, fitting a stronger axle. Popping that axle finding, collecting, stripping, making new brackets and welding them on to another axle, I've run out of time to make Newark. The axle is sat at the end of my drive waiting to go down the road to where my car is sleeping but I've got a toddler who is fast asleep and I'll get wronged if I sneak off to fix the car!! I'll get the axle fitted in the morning (with the invaluable help of aforementioned three year old!), and I'll probably get the brake pipes made and run in but I still have a new brake M/C to fit and re-plumb and then test the new axle. A trip to Newark isn't the time to test a major component.
So, I'll be at Newark in the Jeep. Feck.
