e-buyer card scammed

Earlier this month I bought a pair of headphones from e-buyer. I paid by visa card and phones delivered to my home in UK next day.
I tried to check my visa account on t'internet to only to find it was locked out. Reset the access, checked my visa card account and discovered that on the same day 2 other transactions went through for a total of just under £200.
I know this wasn't me as there are only about 5 places I know of, here in Yemen that actually take any sort of credit card.

I am still waiting for a reply from e-buyer and from fraud team at card company.

Motto
Don't use a credit card on the internet !!

My advice is to get a separate credit card with a low limit on it only for internet use, then if you do get done they can only take a small amount which will be protected anyway and you don't have the inconvenience of being without a card for other day to day stuff.

Just my 2 pence well deposited.

Good point, but I main concern was someone cleaning out my account. I usually only put enough in that one to cover what I buy and I don’t use paypal or e-bay. I will check though.

ta.
