Skydiving- BHF
Hi all...
I just thought id try on here to raise a bit more money for a sponsored skydive im doing in september.
Basically im doing a tandem skydive at langar airfield in nottinghamshire to raise money for the British heart foundation. I have set up an online
account to help me raise more money. I was hoping that some people here would like to help me raise some more money by sponsoring me. If you put ur LB
name either as the name or in the comment then i will know who has helped.
To sponsor please click here
When i have completed the jump i will let you all know how it went, how much i raised and will also be posting pictures of the jump to prove that i
did it.
Thanks for reading and Thanks for your help
Mikkel

Out of interest does all the sponsorship go to the charity or does some go to cover the jump? My sister was going to do a tandem for "Whiz
kids" and they were going to take about £100 of the sponsorship...
Did my AFF course end of last year in Spain and did about 20 solos after... Awesome!

yes, some of it does cover the skydive, we are required to raise a certain amount.
All donations online go straight to charity though.
Thanks

IIRC it is illegal to use sponsorship money to pay for entry fees/jump fees and the like.
There are ways round this however, e.g. raise a certain amount and the charity pays for your jump fee...
You can't take money directly out of your sponsor fees and just pay for the jump. However, Good luck with it all, just didn't want someone
to trip you up later.

mr_pr,
It is a scheme that is run by the british heart foundation which allows us to raise a certain amount then they will pay for the jump.
Thanks
