Short term jobs in Dublin

Short term jobs in Dublin?

Friend of mine from France is in Dublin for a month to help his already very good English.

He's doing a masters in Civil Engineering ie. he's quite bright!

He wants some work whilst out there but is having no luck. Says he's tried the job agencies but has so far found nothing.

Anyone able to help? Or know of any job agencies there doing temporary work?
He's not after anything relating to Civil Engineering... anything will do!

Thanks!

James

He might leave with a bit of an accent, to be sure!

I would have thought that bars and hotels would be the best bet being the holiday season and all that. Plus plenty of contact with the general public.

I've got a Spanish colleague who lived in England for 2 years and Dublin for 7 years. He speaks perfect Irish English from a vocabulary, grammar, phrases point of view but has still got the strongest Spanish accent you've ever heard!
