Brave men!

Just watched MotoGP from Germany on BBC - I used to hate riding my bike at ordinary speeds in the rain.

How they manage to stay on for the whole race, at the speeds the reach, absolutely amazes me!

Of course, not everyone stayed on...

The line between those two is very fine. Also if you stay on you're judged brave, if you fall off you were being stupid - for exactly the same driving/riding style.

The wet grip on modern bike tyres, and race wets, is amazing when you look how few 'treads' the tyres have. But it takes skill to be that smooth and put the bikes and riders weight where it needs to be to exploit that grip......
