Sorry to have to tell you that my babies are 18 and 15 years old and continually need lifts to and fro. They can't cook if there is a parent in the house. The aversion that toddlers have to going near the sink to get hands and faces clean has now changed so that aversion only exists if they are in possession of a dirty plate or cup. They have developed the concept of the 'floordrobe' to a new level and seem to be able to wear every single item of clothing that they own in one week. Now they have finished school, at least they have experienced the hoover (even if it is only the noisy thing that wakes them up at lunchtime). The eldest one seems to be on a permanent nightshift (social not working) then there's the attitude. I blame the parents!

I found the best way of getting time is to offer the MRs a lie in.

Sat morning I take the chubby little monster till about 1pm, this gives me chance to go machine mart, steel stockholder etc. AND brownie points so that I can spend all the afternoon in the garage after she gets a great lie in.

Best bit is, cos it involves driving miles and miles the baby sleeps the WHOLE TIME!

Box clever lads! Its the only way!
