Nitrous - who needs it...
I've decided what to put in my Locost... saw it on Sky last night...
Hydrogen Peroxide!
The rocket motor was strapped into the world's fastest drag car to do a quarter mile - around 3.25 seconds, with a terminal velocity of 395mph (and
the fuel ran out 3/4 of the way down the track).
Apparently the G forces are considerably greater than those experienced by a fighter pilot...

OK, I found a piece on the car (Vanishing Point).
He was only doing demo runs as the car was headed for a museum the next day - only 5.2 sec quarters, with a terminal velocity of just under 200mph.
Nothing, really...

I saw "Vanshing Point" years ago, the strangest thing was the silence 'til it sparked up. After half a day of 'uge gert V8's running methanol and
no exhausts, the silence (bar the clicking) was quite surreal.
Mind you once it did start there was no stopping it, my eyes couldn't keep up (another strange experience) 0-386 MPH in 3.58 seconds, f*** NOS

Love is like a snowmobile, speeding across the frozen tundra.
Which suddenly flips, pinning you underneath.
At night the ice-weasels come...
