Power to weight calculator
Came across this site
http://www.letstorquebhp.com/calculator.asp
Mine worked out at 340bhp per ton.ie 166bhp and 496kgs

Every Windows PC has one of these built in.
Start, Run (or windows key and R) then type "calc"
Enter bhp then press "/" (divide) enter weight in metric tons so for you thats 0.496 then press enter.
166/0.496 = 335bhp/ton (rounded up 1).
No website required

Quite how it gets 340 for yours when its clearly 335 I don't know BTW...

Mac's have them too!
In fact... I had a watch in the 80's that had a similar facility (you never see them now!?).

It calculates the power to weight in tons not metric tonnes

but how does it work out the 0-60 and all the other times surly that all depends on the gearing and wind resistence and properbly many other factors

yes it will do, its only going to be an average figure. its surprisingly close tho in many cases!

anyone the bhp of a standard zx12r??
just want to see what it comes up with
i got a bhp figure from
here
and guessed at around 550kg
giving 323 bhp per ton
