I met David Cameron today....
I was out promoting my business (distributing my flyers) in Lancaster today, when I came out of a sandwich shop...
And David Cameron was there!! I did a double take, because it was so random that he would be in Lancaster!
Anyhoo, I couldn't resist the opportunity so I went up to him and gave him a flyer. Fairly good publicity i hope, seeing as there were loads of
local photographers there
I posted in this section the other week about making a website, and some people wanted to see what my first attempt would be, so here it is:
uni2go.co.uk. (this is also the business I was trying to promote)
David Cameron made a comment about the bed logo, something to the effect of 'I wish I was that person in the bed sleeping!'
Hopefully a pic of my meeting will be forthcoming, as soon as I get it from my friend's phone.

damned good idea - spelling mistake on the bit about getting paypal integrated by the way.
Wish i'd thought of the idea now.
Have you considered expanding to other areas like stationary, pen, pad, bag etc. Its one of those things Auntie could buy dear little jimmy.
Next year you could also add in a local map of the uni / surrounding area - sure people would find that handy so they could get places on the first
few days.
errm..... seeing i've just had this idea does that get me 10% of the profits ????

Good idea. What about banging a box of condoms in? I believe uni's tend to push safe sex when noobies first arrive and I bet half of them would
be nervous about buying them.
Not me mind. I'd be right in there showing off to the chemist that I was finally getting some Anyway I digress..

washing machines with dryers ......
then again, 8 weeks on one set, probably about right for a student
then could always turn the sheets inside out to get another few weeks and complete the term

Thanks for your comments!
Yeah, I had already thought of those things, and I will expand my range as soon as I can and prepare for next year. Stationary etc. is the next thing
to add as uni2go is currently a little too seasonal for me at the moment!
btw, there is competition (well hidden though) but my prices are aimed to undercut them as they have already been established for a while.

One of my brother's student house mates did the same. His bed sheet looked like the Turin shroud aparently.

I never used to wash my bedclothes but that cos I was never in 'em (used to go back to theirs ).
Good plan re the condoms BTW... Otherwise just put a link to the local GP surgery, they normally have shed loads to hand out (we certainly do)....
Usually they go out of date and get chucked- though I have used some to cover the threads on the transit upper swivels when spraying (and they get
nicely lubbed up in the process )....
